Motown Sound is a sensational party band that provides fantastic dancing music for any wedding reception, corporate event or party.

Fronted by female and male vocals, this 8 to 18-piece band packs a huge punch and unlike many other bands, they never use click tracks or backing tracks! Every note you hear is completely live, giving the band’s performance unrivalled spontaneity.

Motown Sound’s carefully chosen set list draws on music from the 1960’s up to the present day. They perform Motown classics from Aretha Franklin and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, funk and soul hits from the likes of Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5, disco standards from CeCe Peniston and Chaka Khan, plus modern day hits from the likes of Bruno Mars, Adele and Amy Winehouse.

Many of the songs are orchestrated as medleys, with seamless transitions between songs to keep your guests dancing.  When booking larger line-ups, you can also add a group of contemporary dancers who perform stunning choreographed routines alongside the band, adding a fabulous extra energy to the performance.

Motown Sound regularly perform at corporate events and private functions all over the country, with previous clients including Virgin, Ferrari, BMW, Lindt Chocolate, Triumph, E-On UK and T-Mobile. The band have performed at The Eiffel Tower in Paris and UK venues including Wembley Stadium, Claridge’s, the V&A and ExCeL London – and definitely know how to get the party started!
