Sounds of Ceilidh are a leading traditional Ceilidh band available to book for weddings, parties and events.

Their sound is a fusion of traditional Ceilidh with a modern flair and on offer is a huge dance repertoire which includes all the old favourites, as well as some new.

The standard line up comprises three accomplished musicians, plus a Ceilidh caller to guide everyone through each dance, before the band starts playing. The line-up can be altered to include more musicians, plus a singer if required and the group also provide their own PA system, which can be used for background music or even a couple’s first dance for weddings.

Having played at numerous weddings, parties, festivals and events nationwide, and for the likes of Stella McCartney, The University of Oxford and The Houses of Parliament, Sounds of Celidih are accomplished performers who know how to adapt to different venue sizes, understand their clients needs and keep their audience dancing all night!

Optional extras include a personalised disco service after live sets, an acoustic duo (guitar and fiddle) to provide background music for drinks receptions and dinner parties, solo fiddle player for wedding ceremonies and a Ceilidh and covers combination set which includes traditional songs with your favourite contemporary hits!
