The quartet usually comprises vocals, piano, bass and drums but the line-up can be altered to accommodate alternative requirements. For example, for a smaller set-up, there is the option of piano, bass and vocals or just piano and vocals, with the addition of a trumpet or sax if required. The group are also entirely self-contained and able to provide their own PA, amps, instruments and microphones.
