Tony’s DJ career began back in 1993, playing the London circuit. His musical inspiration came from U.S. house labels such as Nervous Records and Strictly Rhythm, as well as artists like MAW, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez and MK. He played regularly at renowned venues including Ministry of Sound, Pacha, The Cross, Camden Palace and Hanover Grand, where he quickly developed a reputation as a class act.

In 1996 Tony played his first set in Ibiza at the legendary Es Paradis for Clockwork Orange and soon after, he was jetting off to Dubai, Cyprus, Amsterdam, Marbella and several other European destinations. One of his early studio productions was signed to Hed Kandi Records, which then led to him becoming a resident DJ for the brand.

Deeptrak, a creative collective from Essex, consisting of Tony and Grant Richards, was formed in 2011 and received support from the likes of Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Mark Knight, Shapeshifters, Roland Clark, Grant Nelson, Ferreck Dawn and Victor Simonelli. They had releases on Armada, Urbana, Form & Function, InHouse, Love Inc, Nocturnal Groove & Tropical Velvet and also had the honour of remixing three stone cold classics; Todd Terry’s ‘Jumpin’, Victor Romero’s ‘Love Will Find A Way’ & NY’s Finest ‘Do You Feel Me’.

As DJs, Deeptrak have supported a whole host of well-known artists including Sandy Rivera, Norman Jay, Smokin Jo’, Full Intention’s Michael Grey and Low Steppa. In 2017 Deeptrak went viral, when a teaser video for their remix of the classic B15 Project ‘Girls Like Us’ hit over 3 million views and they are now highly sought after DJ’s for all manner of events, functions and parties.
