From the first meeting with Mighty Fine we knew they were the right people to DJ at this very special occasion – my mother’s surpise 50th birthday party. They instinctively were aware of the music befitting of this event and its theme (Old Hollywood) and in fact was excellent in helping us map out how the event should play. On the night they were excellent from start to finish, beginning the evening with the big band, jazz numbers leading up to the finale blending a perfect mix of classics with the newer, taking note of the crowd in front of them. Moreover, they organised the surprise brilliantly at the start and their ability to coordinate the night behind the scenes was gratefully appreciated by the hosts. Excellent DJ’s whom I do not hesitate to recommend and will most definitely use again for future events.
Thank YOU! Slightly sore heads this morning but we had a great time. Our guests said it was the best disco ever! We loved the ability to choose our playlist but your skill at working out what song to play when was what really made it. I really wish we’d known about you for our wedding!

A huge thanks for last night.
On reflection, it wasn’t an easy or typical brief – to get atmos and dancing where the hosts didn’t pick a single track, don’t dance, one of them is teetotal, and we didn’t want it to be wedding-y. But you made it work so brilliantly. We had loads of compliments and could not have imagined or asked for more.
Would I use Mark and Mighty Fine again? Only if I wanted people to seriously party, get on the dance floor and be entertained by a DJ who was not only courteous but also pretty much read our minds about the music needed! Thanks Mark for helping make an epic night and going that extra mile for us.
Dear John and Mark, Thank you for making my party so successful. The music and lighting were amazing and created a brilliant atmosphere and transformed the room. I had a fantastic time. I really can’t speak highly enough of Mark and the professional way in which he dealt with the music arrangements for my 40th birthday party.
From the very first meeting (something Mark insists on doing to ensure both parties are coming from the same place), I knew I was in safe hands from his professional & friendly approach through to his extensive music knowledge.
Mark maintained excellent communication whilst also taking out any hassle from the evening by liaising directly with the venue on timings, arrangements etc, I really didn’t have to worry about a thing. He sent through playlist ideas in advance and amazed me with the sheer volume & variety of music at his disposal.
On the night, my party was a great success and I know Mark played a valuable role in this as so many people complimented the music and he tailored the music choices around various points of the evening to tie in with people arriving & chatting through to the end of the night when all the girls hit the dance floor for the killer tunes!
Mark really went out of his way to offer a truly personal service and was a pleasure to deal with and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
As soon as I was recommended to use Mighty Fine for my birthday party everything was very straightforward – from the initial phone contact to going online to select the tracks I wanted via the impressive website. John did a great job on the night – getting the balance right – so people stayed on their feet dancing. Plenty of positive comments from friends and family. Many thanks!
Choosing a DJ is not an easy task, it can make or break the party, so we were delighted that you came up trumps on the night, not only with the music but you were also pleasure to deal with! Very accommodating due to a few little mishaps that we had along the way!!!! We were all catered for on the dance floor and you managed the evening extremely well, thank you. Mark DJed at my 40th birthday party and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is friendly, professional and has a knack of knowing exactly which tune to play next to get the dance floor rocking and cheering! Before the night I sent Mark a list of my favourite tracks and even though they were very diverse, from rock to pop to classic house, he had every one I listed with him on the night. Mark judged the night really well, creating an atmosphere at the start where I could chat and catch up with all my mates and ending it with full-on tunes creating a packed dance floor and even a few people dancing on chairs!
