I cannot recommend Mark and Mighty Fine Events enough to host the soundtrack to any special occasion you may be planning. From the very first response to our initial inquiry to ask if Mighty Fine Events could DJ at our wedding we knew we made the right choice.
Mark’s knowledge of the running times, pit falls and little details of a wedding were invaluable. We had initially planned to try and save money and play a preselected playlist at our wedding and skip hiring a DJ, but how wrong we would have been!!
Mark was available all throughout our planning stages, with suggestions for playlists for different sections of the day, from the pre ceremony music, drinks reception, entrance music, cake cutting to name just a few (most things myself and my husband had not even contemplated). He even lent us a device for all the days music to use up until his arrival and preloaded it with all our chosen playlists.
His attention to detail and knowledge of our venue served us fabulously and he even spotted a mistake in the timings of the day which we were able to correct.
Mark was always kind, patient and calm and made our evening flow seamlessly. He tailored the music to fit the crowd throughout all points of the evening and ensured the dance floor was always packed.
We would highly recommend Mark & Mighty Fine Events and wouldn’t hesitate in using them again for any future celebrations!

Mark was fantastic from start to finish. He was attentive, responsive and listened to our requests. We had a very clear idea of what we wanted our music to be at our big day, and he took on board the direction and made something brilliant for us.
He was also really flexible on the night and accommodated changes and different requests. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have an amazing wedding day!
Mark has been nothing short of amazing!
After we enquired, he was very proactive in presenting us with options and ideas for entertainment, lighting etc. We had a few consultations, and we gave him a playlist and types of genres of music to play.
Our wedding was on Sat 4 May at Stationers’ Hall, a venue he knows very well. The wedding party went brilliantly well, and much better than we imagined. The music was exceptional and the dance floor was never empty, as everyone had a great time dancing the night away. A few people said it was the “best party” they’ve been to. The only downside was that the night finished early at 1am – we could’ve gone another 2 hours!
Thanks Mark, for your help and support throughout the planning of the wedding, and on the day, with both the wedding breakfast and the evening party. We will be happy to recommend you and use your services again, should the opportunity arise.

His experience spoke volumes as well since we had made a rough playlist to go by, but once Mark had the chance to read the room he, very respectfully, suggested that we stray slightly from it to keep the crowd going – and he was right! Everyone was raving about the music the next day; one guest even kept delaying their departure because the dancefloor was too good to leave!
In the run up to the day, Mark was also incredibly communicative and always replied to any emails within a timely manner. We even had multiple zoom calls with him to go through everything beforehand.
From start to finish, we absolutely loved working with Mark – he was a perfect part of our day and we would recommend him all day long!

We had our original band cancel on us one month before the wedding. In a panic, we contacted Mighty fine Events who were thankfully able to DJ for us last minute!
Our DJ was Mark who was incredibly fun, organised and professional from the outset. Mark made us feel comfortable and confident, working quickly and efficiently to organise our big day.
Mark went above and beyond our expectations, really understood our needs and catered to a Greek/Danish/Spanish/English wedding, throwing in lots of traditions throughout the evening.
Mark organised the speeches well, coordinating with our venue and other suppliers to ensure a very smooth experience. He gave us suggestions on how to improve the evening experience for all of our guests, all of which he was spot on about!
Mark really understood how to get people of all ages, from all over the world on the dance floor, choosing the songs mindfully! Everyone was up and dancing and thoroughly enjoyed the music!

We chose Mighty Fine Events to DJ at our wedding. Mark was incredible, making our wedding choice totally bespoke, with really good advice. Very professional & stylish set up. He kept in contact all the way with zoom calls right until just before.
We had ‘Dancing on the Clouds’ with confetti shower. Would 100% recommend this. We toyed with the idea thinking we didn’t need it & wow what an impact…literally got the wows. So glad we done it!
We also chose Laura as a solo singer from the same company. Again she was amazing! She sang during ceremony & drinks reception – what a voice & such a sweet person.

We had the pleasure of working with Mark at Mighty Fine Events at our wedding, and we could not have been happier with the service we received. Mark was the perfect all-in-one person who spent hours to plan, prepare and figured out ways to turn our wedding day to absolute perfection.
Mark organised the most amazing harpist for the ceremony, the coolest band for the reception drinks, and he was also performing as DJ during the evening party. He delivered banger after banger – we were really impressed!

From the initial consultations, excellent system for selecting playlists, covering all aspects such as cake cutting, bouquet toss, first dance right through to playing all our songs throughout the night. We particularly liked the way you took the time to engage and chat with our guests, providing a wonderful personal touch!

Mark was amazing through the entire process of booking and exploring options for drinks reception and evening entertainment. Having Mark involved in our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. His expertise and advice was invaluable in the planning process and his attention to detail with planning documents and meetings really put us at ease that he had everything covered and our night would be perfect. On the day itself he was a star working with our wedding planner and photographer to make sure everything ran smoothly and meant we did not need to be involved too much and were able to enjoy our evening.

We had a brilliant first conversation with Mark which reassured us of not only his experience and skill but also of his professionalism and reliability and very quickly decided to book him for our wedding entertainment.
Throughout the process Mark arranged check-ins and encouraged us to use his platform to add requests from guests, making the whole thing super simple and easy! We gave a fairly vague brief because we were very confident that Mark would ultimately know best and didn’t want to be too prescriptive, and on the day itself we were proved right, it was great! We had people on the dance floor all night and loads of comments on how fab the music was. Thanks for making our day so special!!
We hired Mark as the DJ for our wedding in April and he was absolutely fantastic. He was so helpful throughout the planning process, answering all our questions very quickly and laying out how everything work which really put our minds at ease. On the night itself he was just brilliant, Mark was amazing at reading the room and adjusting the music as necessary to keep the atmosphere going. Mark spent a lot of time talking to us before the party, to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. His questions helped us to think about a lot of aspects of the evening that probably wouldn’t have occurred to us otherwise. And on the night, he was attentive and supportive throughout, a constantly reassuring presence while MCing the speeches, and a master at getting people onto the dance floor.
