I just wanted to drop you a quick message to say thank you for your DJing at mine and Joanna’s wedding. You were absolutely fantastic and the room looked amazing. Everyone kept telling me how great it all was. We both have really enjoyed the CDs too (such a lovely touch).

Early on, John meet up with you to discuss the evening and allowed us to get across our own requirements for the evening. We found the face-to-face meeting really valuable, it helps to see who you are dealing with face to face and also provide the much needed guidance and feedback we needed as relative music novices! From there, Mighty Fine look after everything – they will liaise directly with the venue and take the stress out of the evening.
During the build up to the day, the playlist builder in the website allows you to have fun listening to and creating the perfect playlist and also allows you to get much needed input from friends. On the night John made the room look amazing – great lighting and DJ booth set-up. John managed the dance floor expertly, playing the right tunes at the right time, interacting with the guests but also not speaking over things too much.
At the end of the night the clear up was quick and seamless and John gave us copies of our playlist on CD as lovely final touch. If you want hassle-free, quality DJing that will ensure the dance floor is filled by all ages we would highly recommend Mighty Fine. They gave us an amazing night!
John was a real professional and a really nice guy! From our first informal meeting, we knew we were in safe hands. We were married at the Horniman museum conservatory in south London. A number of bands and DJs that we had contacted prior to finding mighty fine had warned us that the acoustics would be terrible at the venue and that we would require a special set up but John assured us that it wouldn’t be a problem. He talked us through all the services he could offer: lighting, DJ booth set up, music styles and playlists for the reception and breakfast and a breakdown of the fantastic and easy to use playlist generator, they can literally find any song (I have a taste for the obscure!). John was also fantastic at maintaining contact with our venue organisers and conforming to their long list of terms and conditions!
The day couldn’t have been better, John was all set up when we arrived and everything looked great. The sound quality was perfect and John timed everything perfectly for the ceremony, drinks and wedding breakfast. The evening party was just great, the dance floor was never empty and the fantastic lighting and smoke machines really topped it off nicely. John had organised all our music choices in to a great playlist that kept everyone dancing all night. On behalf of all our guests and us, we would like to say that you made our day! Thank you mighty fine and thank you John! If anyone is thinking of hiring mighty fine then trust me these guys are great.
We found Mighty Fine online. One of the things that attracted us to them was the awards they’ve won, the glowing testimonials and the excellent website. John, one of their DJs, came to our house to discuss our requirements, and we got on with him straight away. John is very professional, knows the DJing game inside out, put us at ease and had some great ideas. He clearly understood what we wanted, and also what we did not want, which is sometimes just as important!
When the quote came through it was pretty reasonable when you considered all that was included, and compared well to other quotes we got.
The website is really helpful for both the organisers and the guests. Some brilliant playlists for background music, and a huge database of tunes to request for the evening entertainment. Lots of our guests made requests for music via the website, which was a fun process and a good feature.
We wanted some playlists for background music during the drinks reception, wedding breakfast etc. John took all the hassle out of this, and sent a pre-loaded iPod directly to the venue. So helpful, and the music was just what we wanted.
On the day itself, John turned up early, and set up with no input required from us. He had clearly liaised with the venue in advance, which was pleasing.
When it came to party time, he did an absolutely brilliant job, as we had expected! Music selection and playing of it was great. He played almost all of the requests, and knew exactly how to adapt to the mood of the room.
We had loads of great comments after the wedding from guests about how good the room looked and how great the DJ was. Well done Mighty Fine, thank you, and I’d never hesitate to recommend you in the future!
We had the best night of our lives and it was because everyone was dancing and loving the music you were playing – thanks so much. Everyone was commenting on how great you were, replaying Dj Luck & MC Neat and then scratching was a personal highlight! Friends that have upcoming weddings are now re-thinking the bands they were planning to book. We would happily recommend John to anyone, he’s worth every penny (even capturing hilarious photos!)
We had such a super day and such fun. It was great to see so many people up dancing. Even quite a few who I wouldn’t have expected to dance! And was so good to hear all of the tunes we love. Lots of people commented on what fun they had had and how it wasn’t like the music they normally get at weddings but more like the old clubbing days which was exactly what we wanted.

I think both Marzena and I agree that John made the whole music process really very easy for us, very pleasurable. From the first moment I had the pleasure of meeting John to the last, he has been absolutely superb. I can’t say thank you enough!
It was an amazing day, I thought you managed our expectations and the event over and above what we imagined. It was particularly good having the Viva Las Vegas at the end, and my uncle signing too.

Thanks again for making our wedding day so special. There were so many times during the evening where people mentioned the DJ/playlist. I remember one specific point where we were outside and another guest said to me ‘do you want me to request a few songs for the DJ’, at literally that point Wonderwall came on and he looked at me and said ‘forget that, dancefloor’.
From that point on the dancefloor was rammed, which I imagine was a lethal combination of your work on the playlist and heavy drinking from the guests. Funny enough it’s that end of the night when everyone is enjoying themselves that people remember and has been the first thing that the guests have spoken about when they say how much they enjoyed their day.
After the wedding, there has been a few people requesting the playlist for their own weddings, so it obviously went down a treat on the night.

The music, lights, (smoke machine!!) and everything else were amazing – thank you so much. We thought it had a great atmosphere and I don’t think I have been to another wedding which has had so much dancing. No one could resist getting on the dance floor!

Having used Mighty Fine in the past for various parties and weddings, it was an obvious choice when looking for a DJ for our staff party. John was efficient, professional and a complete pleasure to work with. We had provided a very vague brief of the kind of music we wanted and John managed to put together the perfect playlist, that kept the dance floor packed for the whole night. As normal we wanted more and more, and the fact we extended an extra two hours on the night only highlights how great John was.

It was a great pleasure finding John, and Mighty Fine. From the easy going chat to find out more about us at the beginning, to the easy to use app to tell them some of the songs we wanted, to the fact that John is a cracking dance DJ, everything was perfect! He even managed to get some good pictures of us! If we had to, we would gladly use John and Mighty Fine Events again and save ourselves the hassle of trawling through all the wedding DJ’s out there.
I cannot express enough how truly thankful both Michael and I are for all your support and help with ensuring we had all of our music choices for our big day, from the ceremony all the way through to being there with us as our friend and DJ to put on one of the best parties possible!!
I love how Mighty Fine Events allowed us to have our own personal play list allowing us to have all our favourites and our choice of music!! John met with us and went through everything long ahead of the wedding ensuring we remained calmed and were fully aware of how the whole procedure worked!! On the lead up John worked alongside those at the venue to create as less stress as possible for us both!! I couldn’t believe how simple it all was made for us!!
During the wedding the dance floor was packed, never once empty and I still to today have people saying how good the DJ and music was, I would most definitely recommend Mighty Fine Events if you’re looking for a personal, well structured and amazing party!! Best part of all is that we were giving the CD’s played at the wedding so I can have a good boogie in my car!! What a wonderful day that was! We can’t believe how well it went! I was SO thrilled to see the dance floor permanently filled. I do not think there was a single moment where it was scarce! What a wonderful wedding day we had Big Thanks to Mighty Fine Events & their DJ John.
From the entrance to the ceremony music to the wedding buffet to the last dance, what can we say about this guy. Absolutely brilliant, played everything we requested plus more, he had everyone on the dance floor & everyone singing his praises all day.
We will be recommending Mighty Fine Events to anyone who mentions the word “party” to us especially John. And what a lovely memento to the day, John burnt our wedding music to disc so we have even more special memories of our lovely day.
