The perfect background music during the drinks reception and dinner, a great idea for the entrance music and an overflowing dance floor from start to finish. You were a pleasure to work with – planning a UK wedding from Sydney was not the easiest task but you gave us all of the reassurances we needed (once we’d mastered the Skype calls!) and we were really impressed with your responsiveness and desire to make sure everything was just right, even going as far as playing the role of band manager on the night!
We have had lots of compliments on the music and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to our nearest and dearest.

Everyone we have spoken to about the wedding said how great you were, and how you managed to blend two very different generations of dancers and get everyone on the floor. Your timing was perfect and it made the whole evening a great pleasure. In all honesty, many of the guests have said it was one of the best weddings they have been to and they all mentioned you as part of the reason why.
Beyond that you were extremely personable and professional, and we felt very reassured by you from the start. Honestly, we could not have been more pleased with the way you handled things and the way you treated us, you were really a pleasure to work with.

As soon as we met them, we knew they were the guys we wanted to be in charge of our wedding party.
Our wedding DJ was professional, friendly and one of the nicest people you could meet. At our wedding reception, no one left the dance floor and our guests commented on how great our DJ and music was. The playlister was brilliant and easy to use to enable us to select our favourite songs.
You only get one wedding party so make sure it’s the best and book Mighty Fine Events! You won’t regret it.
John was a real professional and a really nice guy! From our first informal meeting, we knew we were in safe hands. We were married at the Horniman museum conservatory in south London. A number of bands and DJs that we had contacted prior to finding mighty fine had warned us that the acoustics would be terrible at the venue and that we would require a special set up but John assured us that it wouldn’t be a problem. He talked us through all the services he could offer: lighting, DJ booth set up, music styles and playlists for the reception and breakfast and a breakdown of the fantastic and easy to use playlist generator, they can literally find any song (I have a taste for the obscure!). John was also fantastic at maintaining contact with our venue organisers and conforming to their long list of terms and conditions!
The day couldn’t have been better, John was all set up when we arrived and everything looked great. The sound quality was perfect and John timed everything perfectly for the ceremony, drinks and wedding breakfast. The evening party was just great, the dance floor was never empty and the fantastic lighting and smoke machines really topped it off nicely. John had organised all our music choices in to a great playlist that kept everyone dancing all night. On behalf of all our guests and us, we would like to say that you made our day! Thank you mighty fine and thank you John! If anyone is thinking of hiring mighty fine then trust me these guys are great.
After our first Skype call we knew Mark would fit perfectly on our wedding team hosting the entertainment . His depth of experience, professionalism, sincerity, and sense of humour clearly separated Mighty Fine Events from other suppliers.
He went above and beyond when planning our event including a site visit to Goodwood House and even having the light up letters made for us at short notice. Selecting music by decades and top 200 hits using the online events pages worked well and it was easy for our guests to request songs too.
The room looked truly stunning with the glitter ball, lighting and light up letters. The dance floor was packed the whole night with our international wedding guests going crazy. He managed to blend a huge variety of music including songs for the children, Spanish flamenco and German ballards. It was never too much trouble for Mark to come and find us if he needed to check something with us which we really appreciated.
We had an amazing time so thank you very much. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the brilliant party!
We found Mighty Fine online. One of the things that attracted us to them was the awards they’ve won, the glowing testimonials and the excellent website. John, one of their DJs, came to our house to discuss our requirements, and we got on with him straight away. John is very professional, knows the DJing game inside out, put us at ease and had some great ideas. He clearly understood what we wanted, and also what we did not want, which is sometimes just as important!
When the quote came through it was pretty reasonable when you considered all that was included, and compared well to other quotes we got.
The website is really helpful for both the organisers and the guests. Some brilliant playlists for background music, and a huge database of tunes to request for the evening entertainment. Lots of our guests made requests for music via the website, which was a fun process and a good feature.
We wanted some playlists for background music during the drinks reception, wedding breakfast etc. John took all the hassle out of this, and sent a pre-loaded iPod directly to the venue. So helpful, and the music was just what we wanted.
On the day itself, John turned up early, and set up with no input required from us. He had clearly liaised with the venue in advance, which was pleasing.
When it came to party time, he did an absolutely brilliant job, as we had expected! Music selection and playing of it was great. He played almost all of the requests, and knew exactly how to adapt to the mood of the room.
We had loads of great comments after the wedding from guests about how good the room looked and how great the DJ was. Well done Mighty Fine, thank you, and I’d never hesitate to recommend you in the future!
We would like to thank Mighty Fine very much for the amazing job they did on our wedding day. They were brilliant and went above and beyond just DJing for us. We really couldn’t have been happier with your DJing. It was really important to us to have high quality entertainment (we wanted a ‘proper’ DJ rather than someone just clicking on tracks in iTunes), and despite these high expectations we were totally blown away. I think the best compliment we can pay was the fact that the floor was full all night! You gauged the crowd perfectly, and everyone has been complimenting us on your performance.

When my wife and I met Mighty Fine for the first time, we had that “good feeling” that we found not only a DJ, but someone that would work with us to make the day special.
They had great ideas right from the start and made us feel like we had someone who was experienced with different music genres (we had Country, Indian, 80’s and the latest pop at our wedding) who could make it all work on the day.
Mighty Fine was not only fun to work with and talk to, but they worked well with our guests on the night, including having one friend turn into a guest DJ during the dancing!
Like all the other reviews here, if you get Mighty Fine at any of your events, you will not be disappointed. We could not recommend the Mighty Fine team enough.
At our next event, we would not hesitate to use them again.
Mark created a brilliant atmosphere at our wedding, he played all the songs we asked for and many more, and best of all he kept a close eye on everything going for example when the caterers didn’t do as they were asked. He also gathered the guests for the first dance, last couple of songs and when we cut the cake. I couldn’t recommend him enough, well worth the money!
Marcus, our wedding DJ, was brilliant from start to finish. Organised in his approach, super helpful, volunteering to take on jobs that were not even within his remit as our DJ, and of course creating an amazing atmosphere on the dance floor.
He was truly there to make our wedding night the smoothest and funnest possible, and he did just that, reading the audience at every stage. We did not leave the dance floor all night! We highly recommend him.

Everyone was commenting on how great you were, replaying Dj Luck & MC Neat and then scratching was a personal highlight! Friends that have upcoming weddings are now re-thinking the bands they were planning to book. We would happily recommend John to anyone, he’s worth every penny (even capturing hilarious photos!)

From our very first meeting with Mighty Fine Events we knew that they had to be involved in our wedding as we didn’t want less than perfect. Our DJ Mark went above and beyond throughout the planning of the wedding and on the day.
When booking with Mighty Fine Events, you get so much more than a DJ, they were a great source of support and offered advice on their experience of weddings.
They have a fantastic online personal events planning page, which allowed us with ease to select songs and even invite friends to be involved in the selection of the songs for the day! I felt more relaxed knowing that Mighty Fine Events were involved, as they were organising the lighting, the setting up of microphones, a fantastic DJ booth and disco lights that suited our wedding theme with a number of different options that were given to us to suit the vision that we had. It all really paid off, I gave our DJ the itinerary for the day and I was overwhelmed by how proactive Mighty Fine were, playing fantastic music but also being the Master of Ceremonies!
My now husband and I, along with family and friends filled the dance floor until our memorable finale song was played. We will treasure these fantastic memories and Mighty Fine Events played a tremendous part in making these memories so special.
We had such a super day and such fun. It was great to see so many people up dancing. Even quite a few who I wouldn’t have expected to dance! And was so good to hear all of the tunes we love. Lots of people commented on what fun they had had and how it wasn’t like the music they normally get at weddings but more like the old clubbing days which was exactly what we wanted.

We wanted something a little different for our wedding reception and given the festival theme we chose decorations with a twist that would be fun for guests and provide photos with a different.
The light up letters provided a wonderful backdrop for the daytime and evening added a bit of sparkle to our day.
