I can’t recommend Mighty Fine Events enough and we would definitely use them again!
Last week we enjoyed our fabulous wedding day with a brilliant vibe and atmosphere, thanks to the music provided by Mark and Jack. Mighty Fine has a great selection of DJ’s to choose from but after reading Jack’s profile and meeting him face to face, we knew he was the one!!
The MF playlist builder was really easy to use and the planning documents were well organised in terms of recording additional requirements for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening party. In terms of the music you want, if any lesser-known tracks aren’t available, Mighty Fine can pretty much source anything for you so long as they are available online.
Our entire experience of working with Mighty Fine was very professional. Communication leading up to our event was first rate and the team are so helpful and friendly. Jack arrived well in advance to set up the high tech lighting and sound equipment ready for our evening party and he played the tunes of our choice all night. The atmosphere created was brilliant; all thoroughly enjoyed the party and we only wish we could go back and do it all over again!
A big thank you for also providing the i-Pod with various playlists which were easy to navigate for the venue staff during our ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. This additional service really does take the stress away from planning your wedding! We were sent regular updates leading up to the day and were even posted the i-Pod special delivery to ensure we received it when required.
We would argue that music is the most important part of your wedding day to get right and Mighty Fine do not disappoint.
We would recommend these guys as top in the industry.
The team at Mighty Fine Events has been supportive, knowledgeable and proactive throughout the entire process of preparing the musical entertainment for our wedding reception. John met with us a couple of months before the wedding to discuss all the details of the evening, and followed up on all outstanding issues, while also liaising with the venue. He put together an amazing playlist, taking our ideas and turning them into a line up that had the perfect mix of genres and styles – it was amazing to see all of our guests dancing their hearts out throughout the entire evening, and we are incredibly grateful to John for making it happen.
Mark was great to work with. His love for the job and dedication to tailoring the day to our needs and wishes was clear from the start.
His work was so much more than just the music (which was fantastic), it involved creating a truly unique atmosphere on the dance floor.
We have been left with wonderful memories of the day.

A BIG thank you from my husband Pieter and I for being the DJ at our wedding. You were the perfect choice, bringing a lot of fun to the evening. You also brought great energy to the evening encouraging everyone to dance. We had people on the dance floor the entire evening and the party could have lasted all night. The Skype calls we had made us feel totally at ease and we knew we could rely on you to give our guests a party to remember!

Mark was the stand out supplier of our wedding team. His personal touch and desire to make everything as easy as possible for us was much appreciated. Mark showed his experience in bucket loads from knowing the venue, understanding how to work with the other suppliers and giving us invaluable advice on how to pace the day.
Music wise, Mark was excellent and didn’t put a foot wrong. His depth and knowledge of music keep our guests on the dance floor all night. He catered for all tastes whether, Indian, indie, rock, pop or R’n’B. His work meant the night knitted together perfectly.
Pre-wedding day, the work he did to provide us music for the day on an iPod meant we didn’t have to worry about having the right songs at the right time throughout the day. He was also flexible in how he accepted our songs, whether sent by email, Spotify or using his (easy to use) playlist builder.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Mark, he went above and beyond to make our day work how we wanted. The music he provided painted us the picture we wanted for the day!
Thank you – the letters looked absolutely brilliant! You guys turned up without any fuss, and set up our light up letters in no time at all. They provided an amazing backdrop to our wedding breakfast room, and when the lights went down later in the evening, helped create an amazingly lit atmosphere.

I would not hesitate in recommending Mighty Fine Events!
I first came across the business at a wedding fair held at my wedding venue, and I fell in love with their light up letters. From start to finish the whole team have been communicative, and extremely helpful. The letters looked absolutely fantastic on my wedding day, all our guests commented on how unique they were and what a great photo opportunity they made!
It’s been an absolutely pleasure and I hope to deal with the business again in the future!
We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding DJ than John. Not only was he incredibly thorough, diligent and professional in his preparations for the big day, he was also hugely personable, friendly and reassuring. We would recommend him in a heartbeat!
We hired Mark for our wedding at Hampton Court House. He MC’d for us during the day as well as DJing. The best compliment we can pay Mark is that the dance floor stayed full the whole night, and our friends were shaking his hand at the end!
Music and lighting were great, catering for our very varied guests.
He had consulted us thoroughly before the day and had pretty much every detail covered (we had no idea you needed a cutting the cake song!).

It was lovely to meet you in person, to discuss our wedding arrangement and offer some great ideas with lighting, announcements etc. With my new husband (Andy) being a Gary Numan fan, we wanted to include his music (I only knew “Cars” which I added to our playlist) in the evening without clearing the dancefloor!! You played 3 Gary Numan songs (Great choice from his No.1 fan) and Andy went into a world of his own singing and headbanging with everyone joining in. It was fantastic, and I’d wish I had recorded Andy. We received so many lovely comments from friends on the mix of music played, and you knowing what to play at the right time, keeping the dancefloor filled.

Chris played at our wedding last weekend and we had an amazing time. Choosing our music was really easy and straightforward and Chris mixed this in with our music to create a diverse stream of music that worked so well. Everyone loved the music and commented on tired legs (as well as heads!) the next morning. I can’t recommend Chris and the service from MFE highly enough.
I wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for providing such a fantastic service on our wedding – and in the lead up!
We both come from such different backgrounds, but you were able to find music that got everyone on the dance floor – which was absolutely packed all night. We had so many friends and family comment on how fantastic the music and dancing was, and it really made celebrations! Your pre-meeting was also immensely helpful, not only for reassuring us, but for helping us to better envisage how the evening would unfold. All of your tips and ideas were brilliant and really made it a memorable experience for everyone.
Thank you again – it was no easy task to please a group of Northeners and Puerto Ricans on the dance floor – but you certainly met that challenge!

Mighty Fine provided a first class service from start to finish.
Mark was our host and meticulously planned things, advised about things we hadn’t considered at all, we were even allowed to choose our own playlist!. I was especially impressed with how Mark orchestrated the whole evening, liaising with the venue management, photographer and Best Man and Maid of honour. Things went seamlessly, this was undoubtedly due to the behind the scenes hosting by Mark.
Mighty Fine are a service to make the evening go with a bang, worth every penny.
