A massive thank you to Mark for helping make our wedding celebrations so special. We had a magical time of it and an amazing party- helped very much by the first class sound and lighting skills of Mark. From our first meeting with Mark, we knew we could expect a great evening event. Amidst all the many stresses of the wedding plans there were a few people who stood out and made things really easy and also fun- Mark was one of those. Nothing was ever too much and his genuine love of music and strong desire to ensure we had an amazing time, shone through from the outset. He managed to source even our most obscure music requests. It also helped hugely that he knew the venue and staff so well- he was able to help with planning beyond just the music and offered invaluable advice on all aspects of the reception details. Our live musician commented that it was one of the most enjoyable gigs he’d done……because Mark did all the hard work for him!
Thanks again Mark for all you did and your great enthusiasm in helping make our wedding day such a treasured occasion.
A huge thank you to Mighty Fine Events for making our big day even more special. They were incredibly friendly with all the guests, everyone had a great time and we had so many compliments about the music. Everything was handled perfectly; the initial meeting months before the wedding, the Mighty Fine playlist builder, providing an iPod for the wedding breakfast and mixing in Indian music for our wedding party. We would absolutely recommend Mighty Fine!
You did a fabulous job and as you can probably tell my friends had a great time. The room looked wonderful too and you helped to create such a fun atmosphere.

We were recommended Mighty Fine by a friend, always the best way, and from start to finish they were just what we had been looking for. From coming to meet us to discuss our plans in person, to meeting us at the venue to finalise arrangements, nothing was too much trouble. The online system allowed us to simply add the tunes we wanted played, and any tunes that they didn’t have on there they arranged for us.
On the night they were set up when they were supposed to and ready and raring to go. We had an absolutely blinding night, and only wish they could have played on into the wee small hours – the venues time limits not theirs!!
They are professional, friendly and we would wholeheartedly recommend Mighty Fine to any of our friends (and anyone else that will listen). We are now trying to come up with an excuse for another party so we can get them along to DJ.
The music, lights, (smoke machine!!) and everything else were amazing – thank you so much. We thought it had a great atmosphere and I don’t think I have been to another wedding which has had so much dancing. No one could resist getting on the dance floor!

Having used Mighty Fine in the past for various parties and weddings, it was an obvious choice when looking for a DJ for our staff party. John was efficient, professional and a complete pleasure to work with. We had provided a very vague brief of the kind of music we wanted and John managed to put together the perfect playlist, that kept the dance floor packed for the whole night. As normal we wanted more and more, and the fact we extended an extra two hours on the night only highlights how great John was.
I cannot thank Mighty Fine enough for another fantastic night – everyone had the best time! We will continue to recommend them to all guests that come to us with music requirements and will not hesitate to call on them again for the next staff party.
What can I say, nearly a month has passed and I can’t believe the wedding has been and gone. It was such a special day and I keep longing every second to be able to re-live it. A big thanks to Mark as the most relaxed and fun parts of the day were once the party got started – the music was fantastic and completely aligned to everything we wanted for our wedding party.
Mark went above and beyond adding the extra touches I had requested such as the gobo Disney Castle light projection to add that magical touch for the crazy Disney fan in me. Mark also managed to turn a YouTube Disney video into a romantic backdrop projection for our cake cutting/first dance.
Mark was very reassuring and had everything under control, even areas which were not directly his responsibility. Even at slight moments of stress when things ran over – time wise and photography wise – Mark was cool, calm and kept super-positive, which kept us happy and positive and reassured too.
It was a fantastic wedding and the music and Mark’s touches and wedding knowledge and expertise helped it go the extra mile! I only wish we could have the day all over again.
We would both like to say the biggest thank you to you John. You completely made our evening, and so many people commented on your brilliant set up and fantastic DJing, and said it was the best wedding they’ve been to! We had such a big age range it is testament to your skill that young and old, all had a ball! It was brilliant being able to put songs on a playlist and our friends loved being able to put in requests too. We really cant thank you enough for making our evening so special.

Mighty Fine Events was recommended to us by a friend, and it was without a doubt the best recommendation given to us. Our DJ Mark immediately put at us ease about our decision, showing great expertise and more importantly for us, passion in his profession. He told us all the things to think about and took complete responsibility for ensuring every aspect of the music throughout our wedding day was perfect. He was a joy to work with; professional, reliable, committed and unbelievably talented. We had several people explicitly comment on his technical expertise. Not only was Mark’s DJing faultless from a technical standpoint, he was also incredibly friendly to all the guests, and knew how to work a room. My favourite comment from one of our guests was : “I only got up to dance to one song that I liked, and before I knew it I realised Id been dancing for over an hour. ”. The dancefloor was never empty. If we ever throw a ten year anniversary party we will be straight on the phone to Mark.

Both Mark and John were involved in the early stages of planning our Christmas events and were extremely helpful and professional from the very start.
John was very accommodating to specific client requests and couldn’t have done anymore to ensure our clients had a good time at their Christmas Party. We loved the fact that our clients were able to have input into the playlist – great touch!
We received fantastic feedback on the music for each of our Christmas events – John had the crowd up on the dance floor every time!

Working with Mighty Fine was an absolute pleasure – you were professional and enthusiastic throughout. The whole process of meeting, selecting songs, etc, was very easy – particularly the feature of Mighty Fine’s website that allowed us to select all of the songs we wanted before the day.
Any questions we had were answered quickly, and basically you gave us one less thing to worry about when we had a million and one “wedmin” tasks to do.
On the day you were great and did a brilliant job of playing all the songs we had selected in an order that worked well and really got the party started – and we didn’t give you an easy job, between my love of rap, my husband’s love of rock and the wide variety of songs our guests chose!
In addition, the set up and use of lighting was great – very cool and not at all the “mobile DJ” experience we’ve seen at other weddings!
We would highly recommend Mighty Fine – we will certainly be recommending you to family and friends and would definitely use you again.
It was a great pleasure finding John, and Mighty Fine. From the easy going chat to find out more about us at the beginning, to the easy to use app to tell them some of the songs we wanted, to the fact that John is a cracking dance DJ, everything was perfect! He even managed to get some good pictures of us! If we had to, we would gladly use John and Mighty Fine Events again and save ourselves the hassle of trawling through all the wedding DJ’s out there.

We just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you did to help make our wedding day such a special occasion for us both. From the very beginning you were such a help and were happy to assist us with anything we needed – from music, to lighting, to use of your microphone and speaker systems during the speeches, you really did have everything we needed to make sure our big day went smoothly!
We loved the background music that you played throughout the wedding breakfast, and the room looked amazing thanks in no small part to the uplighters which you supplied.
As for the evening reception…wow! We really couldn’t have wished for a better evening, and all of our guests have told us what an amazing time they had, so thank you so much for really getting the party started – a few of our friends are getting married soon and they were all keen to find out who we used as our DJ!
The dancefloor was full all night, and we loved your choice of tracks – you managed to find something to suit everybody, without straying from the genres and themes that we had discussed when we met you. The online song requesting system is a brilliant idea!
The lighting and mirror ball were fab as well, and there was a great atmosphere (even including a mass dance-off!) which was down in no small part to your excellent DJ’ing!

Mighty Fine Events were referred to us by some friends who had hired them for their wedding and we have absolutely no regrets about taking them up on their recommendation. Mighty Fine were involved in the early stages of planning and walked us through in a step-by-step fashion every musical element of the wedding that we would need to consider, making helpful suggestions along the way but always ultimately leaving the final choices up to us. They were friendly but also very professional and always easy to get in touch with if we had any queries in the run up to the big day. They were also very accommodating to specific requests regarding entrance music and first dance and were self sufficient in terms of equipment and liaising with the venue.
On the day itself they made sure everything went off without a hitch and did a great job of getting everyone up on the dance floor and having a great time. They were also more than willing to get stuck in and help out with an extra bits and pieces when another pair of hands were needed. Overall Mighty Fine Events provided a fantastic experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for DJing services.
We could not have wished for a better DJ’s for our wedding than Mighty Fine. True professionals with talent, they made sure everything was right for us on the big day.
